What Do i Own?
You own a membership of the CVIHC and the Points Rights that are shown on your Membership Certificate. Your Membership Certificate states your Membership Number and the number and type of Points Rights Certificate is your proof of legal ownership and it should be kept in a safe place along with your precious possessions. |

What's A Point?
A Point is the currency used to book your holiday. The accommodation in every CCIL resort has a Points value, and your Points are used to pay for this accommodation when you use it. |

For example:
A one week holiday in a 1 bedroom unit at CCI - Medchal - Hyderabad would be between 140-170 points depending on the season. The Points values are shown on the Country Vacations Points Table Later on this Guide. |

How long are my Holidays?
The beauty of the CVIHC Membership is its flexibility. The Minimum reservation is a 3 nights Weekend Break or you can also book a 4 night Midweek Break. The maximum reservation depends entirely on how many Points you wish to use. Reservations are normally made in intervals of one week where you are limited only by accommodiation availability and the number of Points that you have spend. |

What is Late Break Special?
By booking 45 days or less before your intended holiday, you can obtain a saving of up to 50% on the point’s value of the accommodation. There is no limit to the number of Late Breaks that you can take in any year as long as you have sufficient points. |

When do I get my points?
On 1st January each year, your points account is credited with the quantity of points shown on your membership certificate. For example, if your membership certificate states that you own 140 points right, your points Account will be created with 140 points on 1st January each year for the duration of your membership.
Whenever you make a reservation for accommodation in a CCIL Resort, Internal Exchange Resort or an Exchange Company Affiliated resort, your points account is debited with the point’s value of the accommodation. |

Do my points have A”Use By” Date?
Yes, the points credited to your points account each year expire on 31st December in the same year. However, you may save your points for a further year by giving written notice to your designated Country Vacations office. The written notice should be received by the Country Vacations office on or before 30th November. Therefore the maximum life span of any points credited to your points account is two years. |

How do I make a holiday Reservation?
It is simple; just refer to your Country Vacations Members Handbook:
- Select your preferred resort and the time of the year you want to holiday from the resort profile/RCI directory.
- Select the type of apartment.
- Determine the number of points that are needed from the Country Vacations Points Table.
- Ring your Country Vacations Reservation office and make your booking.

How does the Reservation System work? Every resort / club affiliated with Country Vacations is recorded at the Country Vacations Reservation office (CVR). Reservations are accepted on first come first serve basis. So, the earlier you make your reservation, the more likely you are to get your preferred choice. |

Can I sell or Bequeath My points right?
There is no restriction on selling, bequeathing or gifting your points rights to others. Should you wish to sell or transfer your points rights, contact your Country Vacations Customer Relations Officer who will send you the necessary transfer documents to complete. |

What if I don’t have enough points for my holiday?
The options available to you are:
- Select a holiday of a lower points value.
- Save your points and go on the holiday of your choice next year.
- Borrow enough points form next year.
- Use the discounts available through the Late Break Special
- Buy Bonus Points if they are available for the time of the year you wish to travel, or buy additional points rights.

What are the Annual Costs?
CVIHC members have to pay applicable management/ maintenance charges as mentioned in the membership agreement. The management charges collected are used to maintain the properties, upgrade the facilities at the properties, security, insurance, electricity and water, full reception service, technicians and gardeners, interior repairs, maintenance and refurnishing etc., |
Can I Borrow Points From Next Year?
Yes, you can borrow some or all points from your next year’s allocation and use them in the current year. With a combination of saving and borrowing points you can then use up to three years worth of points for a longer holiday.

What are the different season bands?
- Red: This denotes the peak season.
- White: This denotes the shoulder season where you can enjoy a quiet holiday in pleasant weather.
- Blue: This denotes the off peak season, for a holiday away from the crowds.
